In 1987 two brothers partnered up to form a vacuum service company with a focus on quality service. It’s come a long way from its humble beginnings from a used Atco trailer as an office and small quonset hut for a shop. Garry Nelson attributes any success in the business to the hard working employees and subcontractors that they feel privileged to be working with under the Nelson Bros. banner.

Nelson Bros. holds a Certificate of Recognition (C.O.R.) from Alberta Labour and employs a full time Environment Health and Safety Supervisor to provide the company and clients with assistance should any Health, Safety or Environmental issues arise. All employees are required to have a basis set of training courses (First Aid, H2S Alive, TDG and WHMIS) and may have other courses depending on their activities on the worksite (ie. Picker operator will require a journeyman certificate). We are also part of leading industry safety organizations to assist our customers with vendor management: ISNetworld, Complyworks, Avetta.
